| FEES Fee arrangements are discussed at the initial consultation. Often times a fee agreement is signed by the client and the lawyer handling the case detailing the scope of services, hourly rate and payment terms. Whereas some matters are billed on an hourly rate, other matters are billed on a flat fee or percentage basis. These arrangements are discussed and agreed upon at the initial meeting. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Payment is due at the time of services or upon receipt of a statement of services. Interest is charged on the outstanding balance due on statements after 30 days at 1 and 1/2 % per month. In some matters, a retainer fee is requested which is credited to your account for services to be performed in the future. Home |
